Grown on very chalky soil in the middle of the slope up the valley above the 1er cru La Platieres facing south.

Fermented in oak old vats with no whole bunch, aged in barriques for 18 months 25% new oak.

50-60 year old vines.

Lick of new oak toast, red fruits florals red cherry liquor, pot purri, touch of ironstone.

Firm Pommard, Nebbiolo-esq tannins very long firm nice elegance and length, but classic Pommard structure
