Very rich depth of color. There is always more new oak here to be seen on first impressions that elevate the overall complexity and class of the aromas, it is amply carried by the depth of fruit, wild strawberry, black cherry, blackberry and plum. The palate is suitably concentrated but with a silky volume of fruit that coats the palate. Corvées is normally a little firmer in tannic structure, but this is the silkiest and finest we have seen.
