Domaine Romain Pertuzot Chorey-Les-Beaune 'Les Petits Champs Longs' Blanc 2022
Chorey-lès-Beaune is a village in the Côte de Beaune, located just north of Beaune itself. Often overshadowed by more prominent neighbouring appellations, it produces wines that are approachable, balanced, and distinctly Burgundian. "Les Petits Champs Longs" is a specific vineyard (lieu-dit) within the Chorey-lès-Beaune.This vineyard is known for producing both red and white wines.
"Les Petits Champs Longs" holds particular significance for Romain and Evelyne, as it is the first vineyard they purchased en plein droit (in full ownership).
Tom's tasting notes:
Nectarine, white peach and citrus, with a hint of exotic fruit, nice cashew nut oak and spiced pear, it’s complex and intense with a lovely depth of fruit. The palate is quite rich and expansive with a fine line of acidity and pithy phenolics, its got loads of texture and weight and really impressive length. Drink 2025-2030.
