Serrat has spread its wings a little further than the Yarra Valley for the first time. A number of trips to Tasmania in the last few years has focused our attention on the incredible wines being produced across the entire state. In 2023 we secured a couple of tiny parcels of Pinot Noir from around the regions  near Hobart, including the Coal and Huon Valleys, enough to fill one puncheon (500L)). We aim to continue this exploration of Pinot Noir into the future.

The color of this wine is a medium-dark red, super bright.

The nose presents lifted aromas of red fruits, raspberry, and strawberry, with hints of florals and rose petal potpourri, quite detailed and complex.

The palate has lovely depth and precision, silky, intense, and impeccably balanced. The flow of red berry fruit and floral notes lifts the wine with a finish that seems to go on and on. A lovely first Serrat Tasmanian advenure.
